Purpose of Business Watch
We believe that local businesses should feel safe in the community. Our goal is to allow an environment for businesses to prosper through providing educational resources and support.

Program Benefits
As a member of the program, you will receive:

• Tools and resources to reduce and improve incidents in and around your business
• Strengthened communication between Chilliwack Crime Prevention Services and your business
• Car audits in hotspots where theft from automobiles is a pattern
• Quarterly Business Watch Newsletter with the latest information on trends
• Intentional educational opportunities to help your business

In addition, you will receive specialized crime prevention services from our office, including:

• Security assessment using Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles available for your business
• Support for applying to a rebate program for preventative and/or reparative costs due to crime
• Target hardening education
• Public awareness decal identifying your business as a member of the program​
• Communication to businesses experiencing concerns in their areas
